POPS is Rebranding: Honouring Our Roots, Embracing Our Future

At POPS, families have always been at the heart of everything we do. For decades, we’ve walked alongside families affected by the criminal justice system, making sure they feel seen, supported, and empowered. As our work has grown, so too has our identity.

That’s why we’re excited to share that POPS is embarking on a rebrand and launching a new website in 2025. This is not about changing who we are, but about better communicating the breadth of what we do today — and where we’re heading tomorrow.

Why We’re Rebranding

Our roots remain firmly in supporting families within the criminal justice system, but our work now extends far beyond prison gates. From community programmes to women’s focused support, we’ve expanded to reach families in new and meaningful ways.

The rebrand allows us to:

  • Move beyond a solely justice-focused identity.
  • Reflect the breadth and depth of our services.
  • Highlight the vital role of lived experience and the family voice in shaping everything we do.
  • Connect with families, communities, and partners with greater clarity and confidence.

Above all, the rebrand ensures that our values and vision shine through — showing POPS as a trusted ally, a powerful advocate, and a place where families can thrive without stigma.

What the New Brand Represents

The new POPS brand is bold, inclusive, and rooted in lived experience. It honours our history while embracing a broader, community-centred future.

  • Warm & approachable – welcoming families wherever they are on their journey.
  • Confident & strong – amplifying family voices and challenging stigma.
  • Grounded in compassion & clarity – offering hope, reassurance, and empowerment.

Visually and emotionally, the brand reflects our vision: a society where families are not defined by stigma, but recognised for their strength and supported to thrive.

Our New Website

Hand-in-hand with the rebrand comes an exciting redevelopment of our website. The new site is more than a refresh — it is a platform for change.

Families will find it easier to access the support they need, while partners and communities will gain a clearer picture of the full range of services we provide. From prison-based family support to community programmes, the new website showcases POPS’ impact and strengthen our ability to influence change.

From Family Voices to Inspired Design

Most importantly, the development process has been shaped by those who matter most: the families we support. Their voices and experiences have guided the design, ensuring the site truly works for them.

From the beginning we have been thrilled to be collaborating with design agency T34Design to craft our new brand and bring our new website to life. Their expertise in creating innovative, user-focused design solutions has aligned perfectly with our vision, ensuring that every aspect of our project combines aesthetic appeal with functional excellence. We have been grateful for their creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail making them an invaluable partner in bringing our ideas to life.

Rebranding for POPS has been more than a new logo or colour palette — it’s about telling our story more clearly and reaffirming our commitment to placing the family voice at the heart of everything we do.
