Worried about someone in prison?

If you have concerns about an individual in custody at HMP Risley please call the Safer Custody concern line on 01925 733 007. Please leave your name, contact information and the name and prison number of the individual you are concerned about along with a description of your concern. Alternatively you can send the information via email to keepsafe.risley@justice.gov.uk or via the online Safer Custody portal on the Prisoners’ Families Helpline website.

Visitor Centre Opening Times

Monday – Thursday: 12:30 – 16:30
Saturday & Sunday: 12:30 – 16:30

Video Visit Times:

Monday: 14:15 – 15:00, 15:15 – 16:00
Tuesday: 14:15 – 15:00, 15:15 – 16:00
Wednesday: 14:15 – 15:00, 15:15 – 16:00
Thursday: 14:15 – 15:00, 15:15 – 16:00
Friday: No video visits at the current time.

Saturday: 09:15 – 10:00, 10:15 – 11:00
Sunday: No video visits at the current time.

Prisoners are entitled to 2 video visits per month as well as their social visit allowance. They can exchange social visits for video visits if they do not use all of their allowance.

Financial Assistance
