Current Vacancy: Early Years Worker (HMYOI Hindley)

Partners of Prisoners & Families Support Group (POPS) aims to provide a variety of services to support anyone who has a link with someone in prison, prisoners and other agencies. POPS provides assistance to these groups for the purpose of enabling families to cope with the stress of arrest, imprisonment and release. 

Job Title: Early Years Worker
Hours: 8 Hours per week
Week 1: Wed pm and Fri pm, 6 hours total
Week 2: Sat am & pm Sun am & pm, 10 hours total
Location: HMYOI Hindley
Salary: £7.42 per hour

We are looking for an Early Years Worker to take responsibility for providing crèche facilities and improving the quality of visits for children and their families. By providing this service the post holder will, thereby be helping to maintain family relationships and making a significant contribution to the visiting environment and facilities in HMP Hindley. The post holder will be required to have the minimum qualification of NVQ2 Child Care (or equivalent).
