25 MediumJoin us as we celebrate 25 years promoting the family voice, influencing change and delivering excellence. The anderson lectures mark the focal point of POPS anniversary celebrations and will feature a panel of renowned speakers including Professor Fergus McNeill, Professor of Criminology and Social Work at the University of Glasgow, Dr Martin Glynn, Criminologist and Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Wolverhampton and Economist and Business Consultant, Vicky Pryce. The event will also welcome as a guest speaker its namesake, POPS founder, Farida Anderson MBE.

This significant milestone in POPS history gives us a chance to reflect on the creativity and innovation that have become POPS hallmark over the years celebrating the leaps forward in support offered to offenders’ families. The lectures will delve into the topic of desistance, exploring the role of families in supporting offenders and hearing from the people that make the difference, the families themselves.

The anderson lectures will be held at MMU Business School in Manchester on 6th March 2014 beginning at 5.30pm and will followed by a drinks reception. We hope you can join us. For more information and to book a place click on the button below.
