The Farida Women’s Centre is named after the founder of POPS, Farida Anderson MBE. The Centre provides a range of support services for women offenders/ex-offenders who live in the Oldham area.
We offer a range of services to women ex/offenders and their families at all stages of the criminal justice system, including;
- Police triage (arrest)
- At court (diversionary order or release)
- Imprisonment/through-the-gate
- On license or community payback activity
The Farida Women’s Centre is located at Brunswick House, 31 Union Street, Oldham and is open 10am – 5pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
